I've heard bad things about RV ovens. I also heard you should buy a pizza stone to put in them to make the heat more even. I bought one and ot blocked so much of the heat flow it made it worse so I broke the pizza stone in half and left half of it in there. I'm not much of a cook but, I've made, pigs in a blanket, pizza, and biscuits in my oven with no problems. The RV gas oven works faster them my home oven but, other wise it seems the same.

I've never tried cookies though. I don't eat sweets.

Our water heater is manual light for the pilot. We put the propane in the shed for the winter and that first time lighting is a bear!

I put a lightter in the oven from a gas grill. Other people have don similar because I have seen it on this forum a few times. I think the oven in the TT worked just fine when you get the team set right.

The burners do take a little while to get lit (a minute or so). However, in my previous TT, I used to have to light my hot water heater also. It took forever to get that pilot lit (10 minutes plus), even after lighting the stove burner first. I always wondered why. Is the gas line a mile long??

My fridge and water heater are auto-ignite, but even still they "time out" trying ti light sometimes when LPs been off/unhooked for a while, so I always light a burner and let it run for a few moments before ever trying the fridge or water heater. Our stove has no igniter or pilot, so I always have to manually light it anyways so there's a BBQ lighter handy at all times ;)

Unless you have removed a hose from propane pipe or broken loose a fitting on the propane pipe there is no air in system.

There IS a lack of propane flow and no demand on regulator.

Valve in propane
Light a match or your choosing be it kitchen match, BBQ Lighter, book match or cotton ball---stick lite object next to stove top burner
Turn burner on HIGH
When it lights off turn other burners on and light them off.

You have now established the flow of propane and placed a demand on regulator.
The propane system is now at roughly 0.4# (11" WC)

Depending on piping and location fridge/water heater may take several attempts until flow is sufficient from them to light off.

From experience, trying to ignite the correct location is an added plus too.

Year to year, it stumps me every time.
