To my knowledge there is no egr pump. You have an evr valve and an egr cooler. If your egr cooler fails it usually kills your oil cooler as well. If shop did not replaxe both, flush and replace the coolant then yes you were setup for failure again. I would call the first shop and find out how soon they are going to fix the truck, on them. Here's the deal. They did want to do all of those things. However, it would have meant missing my vacation all-together as they would have taken a long time to do it all. I decided against it and just had them change the EGR cooler. This was my mistake and now I'm paying for it.
