X2, but he stated white smoke out the exhaust! I hope the best for you and it is just a bad coolant tank, or loose hose. Otherwise the repair bill will be large.
I'm not clear on the repairs.... I think the original EGR cooler was ruptured and caused the white smoke out the exhaust, and perhaps the new EGR cooler was not installed correctly and caused coolant to spew everywhere?
If this was indeed an incorrect installed EGR cooler I would like to know which dealer did the installation.
