I'm really not trying to stir up a controversy here, but while I understand brand loyalty, at some point I just don't understand rewarding companies that sold me junk. If I bought a vehicle that ended up with significant reliability issues and cost me thousands in repairs, you can bet I'd be taking my hard-earned dollars somewhere else. Why do folks keep going back? Flame away if you want, but I just don't get it.
While I do see your point, it can also be said that somebody has been burned by every car manufacturer that has ever existed.
Hope the OP is back on the road in something. Vacation time can be precious, don't blame him at all for just finding another truck rather than spending Christmas week in Houston waiting on someone to fix it right.
