I'm really not trying to stir up a controversy here, but while I understand brand loyalty, at some point I just don't understand rewarding companies that sold me junk. If I bought a vehicle that ended up with significant reliability issues and cost me thousands in repairs, you can bet I'd be taking my hard-earned dollars somewhere else. Why do folks keep going back? Flame away if you want, but I just don't get it.
I see your point, but I will stay with the one brand that I have driven since '61 and never let me down on the road. From '88 thru '08 I put over 250k on two different vehicle brands(vans used for work) that were not the brands I have owned. One of those brands had more troubles than it should have had. Call it brand loyality if you want, but I am very happy with my choices.
