Wow! and 28 hrs to replace head gaskets?
A few years back, I had C-15 CAT in a Pete, have head crack. The Pete shop pulled heads, and two of the liners looked bad. So, we went ahead and did a top end overhaul.
Heads, gaskets, injectors, full liners and bearings on all 6 holes, brgs, cam brgs, oil pump, and a few other minor things while it was apart.
One man in Pete started Monday morning, working 8 hr shifts, and I got it back ready to go at 10 AM Thursday! About 26 hours TOTAL!
