You want a new truck so what is the difference? Keep your truck if it is doing the job as you tell us it is doing and it seems to be doing a fine job for you. Might just be messin with ya but it is his money.

I have a relative that keeps having troubles with each truck he buys, all the same brand
I quit throwing money into my C20 and went with something totally different.
