After 30 half @ssed redneck engineering suggestions and 20 stories reminiscing about that time you got "your" 1 wheel wonder truck stuck in the front yard, y'all realize the OP just asked about getting new tires right?
But I'm totally going to pack some zip ties now to help get unstuck.......
It does appear so :-)
On that note a more agressive tire may or may not help. My pasture can get VERY slick on the driveway surface which is just light grass. Slick enough that I have to use 4wd sometimes to just move around. I run Cooper ST MAXX's which are a VERY aggressive tread. There is just too much potential torque at idle, combined with the weight issue. The weight issue isn't so much the lack of weight on the rear tires but the high weight on the front end the rear has to push around.
So, my 0.02, is to run a set of tires that work for your needs 95% of the time.
