We have a 16' scamp and just love it. It has been over MANY bumpy and dirt roads across the country and holds up great. The weight of the 16' Scamp is 1750 lbs and the hitch weight is only 165 lbs. we tow ours with a Honda Pilot and used to tow it with a Saturn Vue. They are made to be towed with smaller vehicles. They have a 13 ' camper also. Ours has everything you could put into it plus air. Double dinette option so we can keep the bed down all the time and put a foam pad on it. Anyways, good luck on your search.
