Well that the story of my life I'm always a little short....... :) But really I'm right at 28' I think. No matters we stayed at the Van Buren State Park 26 bucks last night and had a priceless sun set..



On to more light houses today

Many times I'm pulling my enclosed trailer which gives me a 45' overall length or my flat bed (turns into a deck with carpet grass and furniture) at 35' overall. Maybe that gets me in some places where a TC only setup would not. Of course we're always hauling one or more of our toys so maybe the curiosity of what we bring along helps.

From their list of rules,

22. All RVs must be 28-feet in length, 10 years or newer or in like new condition.

Hey, if its in the rules, so be it.

I know the place your talking about, they are a high end stuffy place. We stay at a great KOA in South Haven, well run and really taken care of.

Anyone that puffs their chest and says they have a "Coach" will look for some one to exclude... MH folks influence the so called "Resorts" owners...

"Resort trailer camps" are managed by bullies... nothing more, nothing less. Just like the bullies when you were a kid in school... or in your neighborhood.

People that work at "RV resorts" are hired help... remember they clean the toilets for the "Coach folks" They want to look down their noses at somebody... anybody... why not you and your TC. They enjoy getting to make you feel bad by excluding you.

So... set your TC up so that it is totally self contained... avoid all camp grounds, RV parking lots, and Snobbish resorts.

It has worked for me... 1007 nights... staying anywhere but campgrounds.

We visit a number of resorts that have spas or golf courses and have only found one rule that applied to us: No offloading the TC from the truck.
