As stated by others the supercab is good for 2 people and the occasional traveller(s) in the back seat. DW and I are about the same height as you and our 3 adult daughters fit back there fine for short trips but I don't think it would be comfortable to put anyone back there for days on end. One advantage we find is that its easier to reach to the stuff in the back as it is closer to you, which is great for short arms! And also we have a full size 8' box but the truck isn't any longer than a CC with a short box, so no slider needed and tons of space for toolboxes, gas cans etc.
