We have had 4 SC trucks over the years, 2 GM's and 2 Fords. Some were interesting to get in/out of the back. But we rarely have passengers and our pet was a cat so we had plenty of room for whatever we put in the back. And since I want an 8' bed having the shorter cab is a plus as we double tow so a shorter truck is a must. I may replace the present truck this year and will still only consider a SC.
And I also don't worry about resale value as I buy a vehicle for me, not the next owner. And keep them at least 10 years so resale is minimal.
