If I had my truck stolen (assuming I had theft insurance) I'd prefer it be chopped and gone, then returned. Sometimes it's hard to convince an insurance company your truck did not burn 2 quarts of oil, shift erratically, and generally run/drive like **** before it was borrowed "for a little joy ride".
