I have 7 years towing with my truck and camper, first using a 6x12 trailer (4 years) and 5 years with an 8.5 x 20 trailer.
I owned both trailers during the 2012-2014 camping seasons and used each one several times those 3 years.

I don't use an anti-sway system. I have never seen the need for it.
