Super truss plus weight distribution hitch close to ground
Hi
This is a follow up to an earlier thread regarding members stating that they have successfully used a super truss and weight distributing hitch when pulling a trailer. I have a 20 ft enclosed car hauler with a very low tongue that is close to the ground when the two rear axles are level and the unit is parallel to the ground. It has a beavertail in the back so I cant crank the preload up. I think a traditional WDH with low slung load bars will scrape the ground?? I saw a weight distribution hitch unit called the recurve by camco that has the load bars above the trailer frame rails but it had mixed reviews. I also saw the wheel that forklift makes for the supertruss. I need some input on what to do. Thank you.
