Thank you all for the advice. At this point based on most if not all of you who said to correct the problem and don't depend on a sway system device. I will definately put the trailer on a scale and check the tongue weight related to the trailer weight before scrapping the idea.
I had a toy hauler but wasn't roomy for long stays. Toy haulers in most part are designed to haul toys with no slides or small ones. Since my problem I did start looking again and did fine a outback made in 2013 and 2014 that has large living area slide and a queen bed slide out. My problem is not wanting to buy a new one and can't find used ones. Maybe a couple years down the road there will be some used ones available.
Definitely get it weighed to be sure you are not overloading the frame or tires. The problem as has been pointed out is that the weight on the back has made the tongue too light. If you are married to this set up I can tell you that using a Hensley or ProPride hitch WILL fix your sway issue if you want to spend the $$. The 4-bar linkage these hitches use makes them indifferent to tongue weight when it comes to sway. Hensley has a money-back guarantee, if you want to check it out, order one and see if it fixes your sway issues.. I am confident that it will.
