One idiot at the cumminsforum killed his 6.7 by going 25k miles and a little over a year OCI if I remember correctly, but he admitted he thought he could extend his OCI with Amzoil to the dealership.

You would be surprised how many engines are damaged due to lack of oil changes while the owners claims they maintain their truck by the book, but the techs seen this circus show too many times.

I'm pretty sure this is made up, but the alternative of you obsessed enough to follow cumminsforum is equally amusing.
