I went from a SRW extended cab short bed to a DRW crew cab with a 9' deck. My "shorty" was great for getting around and parking in the city since it was about 19' long - It would still be my choice for a multipurpose truck since it was so nimble. My current truck is a dedicated hauler, so I don't really care how much space it takes up as long as it gets the job done.
