SO are some of you saying a std 8' bed is not made, only 10' long beds and 6' short beds?!?!?!?!?!?
I'll take a long over a std or short bed! My dumptruck has a 14' bed.....can be handy, turns tighter than any of my crew cab std bed rigs, and it is 3' longer in wb! That 54 degree front wheel turn angle comes in handy as to how tiny of a radius a rig can turn.

I'm part of the time when the ONLY bed you could buy was an 8' bed, with the occasional 6' stepside on half tons was available. Not sure how good a 6' bed would be frankly. Especially when one puts in a cross bed tool box, that might leave you with 4' at best....barely enough to get a pallet of product in the bed! Plus most of the weight will be behind the RA, making it not real fun to drive........
I'll stick to my version of a std bed, IE an 8' one! anything less is a short bed!
