Table cloth clips

Hi,
We are trying to find some table cloth clips for extra thick picnic tables like state parks have. The clips we have go up to about 2". We were at a park last week end that had tables that are 3" thick plus. Any ideas?

Thanks,

When we use a cover over the picnic table, we use bungie cords. It usually takes 2 linked together to make a longer one. Just wrap it around the table end. Works better than any clips you will ever have. And will fit any thickness of table. Put one on each end, tuck the under side in too so it won't flop in the wind. Easy peesie.

Then, from the bungie cord, you can hang a plastic grocery bag and use it for trash. This way, used paper napkins, and even used paper plates won't fly away in the wind when everyone gets done eating. Each person simply puts their paper plates in the bag ... Done!

x2 Got ours at camping world
  • I use 6” quick grip clamps, but do like the above bungee idea
  • go to home depot, lowes, ace hardware and look for big plastic clamps for clamping wood etc. they have jaws that are good for 3 inches or more, don't cost much and work well. That's what we and many camping friends use.
  • We use weighted clip on one's look like ears of corn, can't remember where we got them.work good.
  • We had some plastic clip but they snapped in half on 2" tables. We swapped them out for metal ones.

Before we got the metal ones we used some fire wood or books or rocks etc. to hold it down. Crude but effective. :)

I think Dutchmen has the right ticket with the bungie cords. Particularly on an over sized table.

    Good tip.
