Honestly though, you're taking a huge step back in comfort. Not like you're going to be commuting around town in it.
Still a fun project and to each their own, we all have our own preferences and hobbies, but a newer $10k truck camper and a few $ more in fuel and you'll have a much nicer all around rig.
