Yes. I have solid ideas what I want and I have knowledge on the subject, but with all those myths about reliability, mpg and functionality of such project, I assume I am still for lot of surprizes on the road.

I do not have an argument against your project. I felt early on you pretty well had your mind made up as to your direction. That was what I was reflecting on. I am of the opinion that the person who is paying the toll has the right to walk wherever they choose.
That being said, I hope this project works out very well for you!
