Sticking only to the question at hand and the facts.....
I've owned pop-ups (SunLite and NorthStar) for at least 15 years. At 6'2" I've only hit my head once going in and out. Remember, your natural angle of approach is not straight in, but at an angle going up or down. This usually allows enough headway to prevent any problems. The one time I hit my head, I was jumping straight out the door to break up a fight. Not exactly a normal situation.
