The valves are pretty complex mechanism and 1 of the part is push-valve, who needs correct hose fitting for it to open.
I found it several times already that not all new hoses have well build fitting and it will not open the valve on tank.
Replacing the hose fitting solved the issue.
My horizontal tanks have clear label to be filled in vertical position.
The gauge works in both positions, although it is more precise in horizontal.
