This is the top article that I found on the Lance 1055, and it shows a 2,970 pound empty weight. So I am guessing that dually pickup is a requirement.
I tend to carry about 1,000 pounds of extra stuff, and if she wants 4X4 that is a 400 pound option, and will make the curb weight more for the truck.
Good luck looking at trucks! Hopefully it will be as fun as looking for the camper. What about the camper owner - did they have a truck for sale?
