TC with truck bed storage

Reading along with interest. One thing I've seen with newer units is the apparent lack of 'wheelhouse' access doors. My old, sold Lance had access doors on both sides, easy access to the unused space between the bed walls and the camper itself, space I always used to store things like sealed gas containers, my Coleman lantern, chainsaw and other items I didn't want in the backseat of my truck. My new TC, I had to add the doors. Not a big job but something I would have appreciated being there in the first place (but never looked when I bought it.

With any TC, storage space is always at a premium, nature of the beast I guess.
