Tekonsha’s Prodigy P2 controller setting

I have a new Tekonsha’s Prodigy P2 controller installed on my SUV and would like to know if anyone has the same controller and what your setting is. We normally use my truck for towing our trailer but we have had problems with it and have now switched to my SUV for towing it. We are leaving in the morning and there is one downgrade on the road which makes me alittle nervous. Any Advise is appreciated!

    Your setting really depends a lot on your set up and could and will be different than what others have...

    You will just have to experiment a little with it.
    Here is the manual:>>>LINK CLICKY

    Start with an initial setting of 6.0 and adjust up or down from there.

    If you come to a safe and steady stop it's set right. I always check it at the beginning of each trip and then pay attention to your stops as you travel and make any minor adjustments as you go. If it's working properly you won't have to make (m)any changes.
