Televisions and towing??? On mount or on bed??

My TV wasn't a factory mounted option, I suspect it was mounted by the previous owner. I take mine off the arm and put it on the bed, it was pulling the screws out of the cabinet it was screwed into. I got some threaded rod and wing nuts. I threaded the rods into the tv and use the wing nuts to attach it. That way its easy to align the tv with the mounts.
