Ok disclaimer, I don’t own a diesel, so my family experience since diesels are mentioned.
Moms got a 2011 Ram 3500 HD has about 150k I think or more. Had a dpf filter issue a few years ago and was stuck at 15 mph pulling a camper out west. Dealer had to either replace or clean the filter, I don’t recall. Turbo failure last year, and new turbo installed, otherwise a great truck.
