I'd tell you a horror story if I had one. 2004.5 duramax now has 160K+ miles no problems, current 2015 duramax now at 45K no problems. Great performance, great mileage, everthing I could want.
Neighbor put 350K on his ford 7.3, biggest issue wasn't the engine but the tranny. Only engine issue was the crank position sensor occasionally failing.
Now has 200k+ on his 2014 ford again, so far no issues.
