Yup...EV's are the next logical powered automotive...and...TOWING & HAULING heavy will take a while longer. That is so dependent on how storage tech evolves.
Still think Saline based batteries has a place, but not much research in that area as of now.
Been saying solid state batteries the best next battery for years. As have been saying, electric motors can have +300% torque if the controller is good enough.
For now, a hybrid 'car' is the only one I'll consider after giving away the Odyssey to the neighbor's teen aged son.
Charging stations will be an issue for too long for me to own an EV/BEV
Ditto said that the 'highly integrated trailer brake controller' would be difficult to diag & fix, of which there are so many current posts. One even said the OEM sent 'engineers' to try to diagnose & fix, but couldn't. There are too many 'highly integrated' connections to other 'highly integrated' systems, sub-systems and components to fully see what the poop is going on.
Bottom line: I LOVE electric powered anything because 1st career was in industrial motor controls (electric motors up to 10,000HP) and know what they can do and their weaknesses. Just not ready for my needs at this time...
