Just thinking about the 3500 for one, it's the same price, or VERY close. Two, it's a large investment, and I plan on having it for a while. I can see a 5er in our future one day.
Just based on the published numbers the 2500 is a 2100lb payload, while I agree it's got to be an understated number, it's still what RAM states as payload, which is around 1000lbs less than my current TV.
