Man that thing is sooo smooth. You can't hardly feel it change gears at all. Factory exhaust brake is pretty cool, didn't expect it to work as good as it does. The ride quality with the rear coils ...

68FRE trans, long bed, Laramie. THought about the AISIN trans but for the amount of time we tow (4-5 times a year) I just didn't think it would make that much of a difference. If I was full timing then the decisions made would be different. That won't happen for another 10 years.
Nothing wrong with the 68RFE. 65K on my 11 HO Dually with the 3:42 gears. Towed a combined load of 28-30K, if it were going to break it would have with that abuse!
50K on AMZ/OIL, looks good in my opinion!
Thanks! That is great to hear. Heard they were strong trannies but good to know you have alot of pulling mileage on one. More wieght than mine will see.
