Alcohol taxesBut it still doesn't change my point from earlier. Govt only talks about legalizing something when it can tax it. Once Govt has control over something, it is almost impossible to break their hold.
And if you examine how legal sales of recreational pot are being scrutinized by the states that allow it, and the taxes that go with that scrutiny you can see they gave up no control but receive huge amounts of money.
