I had three VW Beetles in the 1960's. They were reliable, durable little cars with that air cooled, Boxer 4 banger.
I've kept away from VW since the '80's...expensive parts, etc. Nope. I wouldn't be interested in the new V-Dubs and at one time in the air cooled days I was a rabid fan.
