We wanted 4wd and large towing capacities. This is hard to find in a fixed RV for an affordable price, but very easy to do with your choice of truck and TC. I am using my truck more and more as an RV hauler and less as secondary or primary daily vehicle, but I still like the ability to swap out the vehicle or TC at different times. I will soon be replacing my F250 with a Class 5 and keeping the same TC. Once we save up for a replacement camper, we will decide whether to get another TC or go another route while still having a capable vehicle for whatever we choose.
