The Gas-Diesel Fuel Price Differential
As a former diesel owner who currently drives a gasser (and may go back to diesel someday, who knows?) I always keep an eye on fuel pricing; I noticed that here in Phoenix the cost difference between 87oct & #2 diesel is widening again, after narrowing a great deal a few months back.
What really got my attention: a station along 44th Street has 87oct at $3.29/gal but wants $4.19/gal for #2; that's a $0.90 per gallon difference, the most I've noticed in quite a long time.
How's the gap where you live? Still fairly tight or growing apart again?
