I have no real issue parking my 5'er and often park by myself.
However I don't mind if someone wants to assist.
I simply ask them to yell if I'm going to hit something or if there is something back there I can't see.
While I don't needs lots of instruction the more eyes the better
I agree. That was the spotter part of my comment. - LantleyNomadI have no real issue parking my 5'er and often park by myself.

Now, my wife is the spotter, I am the driver and it works just fine.
I tell folks, I guarantee I can park I within the first 12 or 15 tries. I am usually right.
It is not just the lady drivers they feel they should help, they seem to be compelled to assist everyone. - campiglooExplorer

I'm a lady, I get that treatment frequently. I do actually know how to maneuver my trailer.
Park owner/managers who are quite certain that today is the first time I've been behind a steering wheel. Want to spot me, fine, but I don't need you to tell me which gear to use and which way to turn the steering wheel.
I've decided to play the role they want. I will no longer make a move on my own. Turn the wheel to the left! Ok, all the way it goes. TURN RIGHT !!!!
Ok, all the way it goes. Can't wait to see how frustrated I can get them. - GrandpaKipExplorer II

The least fun part for me is the last day's drive back home at the end of the trip.
Agree 100%! Followed closely by the afternoon before you have to pack up the next morning and realizing your trip is nearly over
Most of the time, we are ready to head home at the end of a trip. We love to travel, but we also absolutely love where we live. - Camper_GExplorer
