Since we keep buying them the price will keep getting higher. I have a 2005 GMC Duramax with 43000 miles on it. Sure do like the new ones but with an average of less than 3000 miles a year I just can't justify it.
Especially since it’s something you rarely use. But yes popularity and demand are also a factor. Albeit Only a minority part of the whole pie.
