It obvious takes all kinds. I've driven 170mph cars, 190mph bikes, 750hp diesel trucks, and I've never, ever said to myself, "that enough power, I don't want any more."
And don't say it's just because I'm 30. Or because I'm a "punk kid." I've raced motorcycles with 60 yr old engineers and office managers who are responsible as anyone on here. There are race car drivers into their 70s who feel the same way. Ask Randy pobst. Breaking records into his 60s on tracks around the country.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising someone who feels the opposite, just understand that neither attitude is wrong, just different.
I don't see the point in having a 200 mph bike to ride on a 60 mph road. - RedwoodcamperExplorerIt obvious takes all kinds. I've driven 170mph cars, 190mph bikes, 750hp diesel trucks, and I've never, ever said to myself, "that enough power, I don't want any more."

When we bought our new Civic I didn't even bother to ask how many ponies the engine produced....I think when I buy my next new truck it is likely I won't care enough to ask again. My 2016 has lots of power...I don't care to have any more.

Give them all EFI live and 250k miles and report back. That's a test we all want to see.
How about 275k.....bone stock...on all OEM DPF, SCR, and DEF equipment.....with ZERO trips to the dealer and ZERO downtime?
Welcome aboard!
Hey folks this guy knows his CHIT and will be a wealth of info to those interested in the RAM/CUMMINS/AISIN combo!
Hey GS just be ready to get "FISHED". :B - gsbrockmanExplorer

What the heck were they thinking putting a 5 foot bed on a dually?
I am confused about what bed you are talking about. ALL 2500/3500 RAM short beds are 6'4". People over the years have had a "fake news" that the Mega Cab had a shorter bed, which is not true. Chris - DirtyOilExplorerFish... my friend, my 2005 had well over 300k miles when I sold to it to my buddy (still running like new some where near 400k now) my 2013 has 210k miles on it, and you know I drive it on oilfield lease roads and did put a pile of miles on her RV transporting. I did do the deletes and just recently installed new u-joints on the rear axle. I can say I'm batting 2 and 0 and will leave it at that! :B

Look how many pages of BS have been posted over a test that is not real results. Only one ran a t redline was the Cummins. I don't know what the real results would be and it really dosen't matter. All three are good trucks that will do the job.
I agree they are all "GOOD" but after warranty is long gone what truck would you want to own?
My warranty has expired 25k miles ago (truck has 125k miles) and I sleep good at night. It would help your cause if you would actually keep a 6.7 cummins for more than 70k miles when spewing such nonsense.
Col. and N.M. We are pulling a new GD 5th and I have exactly no concerns about my equipment. See Ya. - NC_HaulerExplorer

I went to the 2017 towing video also, where they tested the same three. All did a great job, all are capable of handling most towing needs. I like the looks of all three. All I can go by is my trucks performance towing my 5th wheel, and I'm happy.. I know I would also be happy with a Chevy or a Ford... Awww, fresh air and no arguing is really nice:)

Jim you have a history buying new and trading almost new trucks. My guess is 2019?????? I was worried reading about heavy rains in what I thought was your area a while back but you didn't post.
don't forget today is Saturday.

Hey Larry, no water issues where we are.. I may never trade again;). Guess we'll see in a year or 3. Just chilling on the river... and yeah, today is Saturday, won't be Sunday for about 4 days:B
Good to have a nice calm thread on three different trucks..
Later,
Jim
