- Turbo_Diesel_DuExplorerGave it up after 14 years in the Carolina Mountains with the temps down to -11* at time and mostly 20s/30's. Bought a house and moved back to Florida and even bought a good used 17 ft boat. No more pink stuff. When hot, turn the AC down, when cold, turn it OFF. No more ice/snow or stairs to climb up/down. To dog too doggoned old.

Pink stuff? what's that? Temps here are getting better for desert camping. The beach is getting boring. Sound of the waves day in and day out. Big RV show here in So Cal starting Fri, time to go look at new TT's.
I almost forgot about the show!!! I am gonna go!!! sweet! - ROBERTSUNRUSExplorer:) Hi, My winterizing consists of parking my trailer in my driveway and connecting my Battery Tender Plus. We are going out later this week for about a week or so. PINK, isn't that something sold at Victoria's Secret? :B

:B - CSNEDYExplorerWe have our last trip planned for the first weekend in November. We go every year around that time, camp for two days, then blow out the lines with the compressor and head home.
- Farm_CampExplorerSigh... Mine goes in to get winterized and some warranty repairs next week... Then it will most likely be stored till the end of April... ;(
But...
We got our last trip in for the year last weekend and just missed the rain and storms here in Ohio. We ended up having a perfect trip with perfect weather and for the first time camped with friends in the site right next to ours. It was such a great time... So on the bright side at least we went out with a great weekend adventure for the the whole family. ;) - trskyExplorerI would like to say we will camp through Oct but the shut down has put a halt on that idea.
- TachdriverExplorerUntil I can get to the place where I can full time or maximize my time and moolah, pink or not pink I will be using my trailer up to Thanksgiving weather permitting!!! :C
- CavemanCharlieExplorer IIII haven't put pink in mine yet but, it won't be long I'm afraid. Last weekend was too rainy and cold to go out. That was the first weekend I've missed since before Memorial Day. The boat could be done at anytime though. I would have done that last weekend but, it was raining. On like other MN members on this board all I do in the winter time is stay in where it's warm and stare out the window depressingly. I can't take the cold and absolutely refuse to drive on a lake. Your insurance doesn't cover you if your truck falls through and it cost thousands in fines, fees, and towing charges to get the truck back out of the lake. Assuming you don't die of course. I'll walk on a lake but, not drive in it.
