That diamond plate looks nice. You'll be easy to spot for sure. I recaulked my S&S front center (only) bubble window today. There was some sign of water intrusion by the rust on the screws. I recaulked everything in Quad caulk. A bit harder to work with if it ever needs to be dismantled in the future but it has such good performance until that time comes. I'm enjoying following your project.
