I wish, we don't have the lemon laws in Canada like you do in the US. I ran out of patience a long time ago and looked at trading it in but I will lose my shirt so I'm stuck with it.
Sorry about your situation with the truck...Just isn't right - NC_HaulerExplorer

Are you talking about your 2014 RAM? If so, how do you have $4k in repairs on a vehicle that is still under warranty? (And yes, I would ask that of any vehicle that is 2 model years old and under 36,000 miles).
Yes, it is still under warranty but that doesn't negate the fact that it has had over $4k worth in repairs. Repairs are repairs, no matter who is paying for it. I am nervous about owning this truck when the warranty expires.

Why? Unless there is more to the story than that post you cannot just lemon law a vehicle if it has a warranty repair. Diesels and particularly modern diesels are expensive to repair.
It was practically brand new..I'd been mad enough to have tried,,,I don't know what's involved ..Never had that issue..But I'd been mad enough to have tried to find out how to go about it.. - camp-n-familyExplorer

I would still like to hear more about the specific repairs that are needed on a vehicle that is still under the bumper to bumper warranty......
Or, are you saying that the repairs would have been $4k if it was not under warranty? - mich800Explorer

What's the point? It's already been established in this thread it just takes cash. Mileage is not a barometer for reliability. :B
In addition you would expect the ram mafia to post information relating to the 6.7 cummins. I wonder how much it costs to perform a delete?
Why would one delete the newest generation 6.7?????? Chris
Good question! Perhaps you should ask the owners of model years 07.5-09. A lot of good folks were forced to delete to keep their truck running but voided their warranty in the process.
How many is "a lot"...I owned a Chevy in that time frame, In fact, I put a tuner on an 03" Chevy 2500 D/A just because I wanted to be able to go faster...I was 55 then:)
So only Dodge truck owners from 07.5-09' had to delete/mod there truck just to keep them running...:h One would think if it were "a lot" of "good folk", that we' would have read about all this...Maybe if I asked my sister-in-law's, 3rd cousin on her sister in laws side, her niece's dad told someone about this I bet...and he was a Master Tech at a Dodge dealership, but owned a Ford, and he didn't like Chevy's and wouldn't own a Dodge because he got fifty rich trying to keep them running and retired at the ripe old age of 32...I heard it from someone who knows someone...who knows someone:R
Nope, not mafia, nor a fanboy, I've only owned Ram trucks for 5 yrs 8 months...never a 5.9, so I'm ineligible to be a Dodge/Ram mafia or fanboy...but blast away because you love being obnoxious...I'm just helping you "get it out of your system.... - camp-n-familyExplorer

Not sure how we got on the subject of deleted emissions (actually, I know it was brought up by our trolling friend). But I will play along.
I could likely go out and ask my neighbor's cousins', son's assistant football coaches girlfriend..........and report back with more info if needed.
Naw!!!! Leave the question asking to our resident troller! He seems to like to get 15th hand info. - Bionic_ManExplorerNot sure how we got on the subject of deleted emissions (actually, I know it was brought up by our trolling friend). But I will play along.
I know 1 person with a 6.4 Ford. He deleted the emissions on that.
I know 3 people with 6.7 Fords, all newer than mine. Only one has left the emissions in place (one of these is owned by the guy who had the 6.4 previously).
I know two people who have Duramax trucks that are newer than my RAM that have deleted the emissions from them.
What does this prove? Absolutely nothing, other than RAM owners are not the only ones who delete.
