Thermostat Problem

Have 30ft trailer. Turn the thermostat down at night to 60. Wake up and turn up the thermostat, things have worked well until 2 days ago. Now when get up turn up, nothing happens. I then go to just fan and fan comes on. Turn back to heat and it starts working normal for rest of day. The thermostat is basic with the slide bar to set temp.
Brand is Coleman Mack. I am thinking problem is in the thermostat and not furnace. Checking to see if anyone has had this problem with trailer. If so what did you replace old thermostat with. Thanks.
  • FIXED. LATEST UPDATE
    This is good information. The tech talked me through this on the phone. The thermostat is Coleman Mack. This fix applies to manual or digital box. Take cover off, take out fuse, there is only one, leave out 5 minutes. The unit reprograms it self. ,put fuse in, now works. Thanks for the response

  • Update to my post, this morning fan on furnace runs in beginning but no light off. Now looking as if problem is in furnace. Will have to call a tech to come out. We are in Tucson for winter.

    I believe Coleman also makes a digital replacement.

    Yes they do....roughly $65

    Hunter, Honeywell or LUX digital....roughly $25
  • Is it this one.........

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Coleman Mach to Honeywell Digital T-stat....ones that use AA Batteries

    Coleman Wiring

    Red = +12vdc
    Blue = -12vdc
    Green = Fan High
    Gray = Fan Low
    White = Furnace
    Yellow= Compressor

    Coleman to Honeywell

    Red = +12vdc -----'RC/RH'
    Blue = -12vdc NOT USED/Tape off
    *Green = Fan High ----'G'
    *Gray = Fan Low ------'G'
    White = Furnace .....'W'
    Yellow= Compressor ,,,,'Y'

    *Green and Gray are used for the A/C Unit fan speed
    If you do not install/modify your thermostat with a mini switch to have/use both Hi-Lo fan speeds just connect GREEN (Fan High) to 'G' terminal
