But I thought this was a forum meant to answer question.
I did not get into conversation with you about automotive electric radiator fans. But where I live they are about as common as rose bushes.
I have seen them installed in diesel applications. And where I live it gets very hot.
You have peaked my interest. Please explain to me why electric radiator cooling fans won't work.
Let me say first, I asked the question of Turtle.
You shouldn't have wasted your time if my question bothered you.
As far as your answer, it was useless.
Smkettner had a great answer that was right on point. 400 volts would bring the amp draw down to 40 amps or so. If the figures from the links Turtle provided were correct.
Your additude is not appreciated by me at all and is certainly one the will discourage others.
