- lfloomExplorerWell, it sort of reminded me of the large canvas tent we used when I was a kid. What a production! Since we only used it once a year, we had to put it up the week before to make sure it was all in good working order. There were a zillion poles, non of which were color coded or shock corded or anything. I am sure it took close to an hour to put up, and this was not a happy hour!
Really, I think this would have been a big improvement. - SCVJeffExplorerI'm worn out just watching. Is this seriously cheaper than a PUP?
I guess I could park the car in there with me tho
BTW- its now 2 years old. Have they sold any? - RobertRyanExplorer

These things are popular in Europe because they need lighter pull weights than we get with family-size PUPs. You do that much work, and it is camping, rather than RVing.
They are not that popular in Europe either ,the default options are a Caravan or Motorhome. - tatestExplorer IIThe complexity of tent trailer setup was what drove our market towards the pop-up.
With a smaller, more simple tent, the setup can be much more simple, just as my 30 year old 7x7 umbrella tent goes up faster, with much less work, than a 16x20 three-room family tent. But most family-size tent trailers are more work than a pop-up, and many require two people working together to put them up.

With all of the extras they had at the end they must have had a second trailer to haul the gear. Doubt it would have fit in anything short of a full 8' truck bed.

My take is that they hired two people who've never worked together and are CERTAINLY not married to each other. The smiling gave it away.
They edited out the screaming, yelling fight they had..... And the police showing up after he got drunnk and threw the hammer at her.
Darn Phoney's, don't you dare smile without a sarcastic comment behind it!! :D :D - bondebondExplorer
