I have MyTouch withe Sync3 in my 2016 F150 and it works flawlessly. Much better than Sync in my 2012 F150 or UConnect in my 2014 Ram.

Well I was a Ford guy LONG before I was a Mopar guy! Ford's poor quality, poor dealers and their I don't give a rat's backside, we have your money now attitude is why I went to Chrysler. As for GM my Dad worked for them for 30+ years and only owned one Chevy truck! Was a pile of cow dung same as my very first new car (1976 Chevy Monza T/C V8). He has never owned another GM/Chevy pick up (lost of their cars though) and I have never owned another GM vehicle. Again do to their dealers!

They all have there issues and most people can look past a problem here or there as long as the dealer takes care of them. For me that never happened with Ford or GM. So I went to a company that for me at least seemed to care about how i was being treated or mistreated by their dealers. We have a few POS FCA dealers around here too!

Oh BTW, I left Ford long before I went to work for Chrysler.

I'm not denying the fact that you have had great experience with Chrysler, and terrible experience with Ford. All I'm saying is that your experience is your experience, and you've owned approximately .00001% sample size of Chrysler's vehicles, which isn't a sufficient sample size to make blanket statements about their overall quality IMHO.

My experience with Chrysler vehicles has been the polar opposite of you, as has my experience with FoMoCo vehicles/service. But I realize not all Chrysler products are ****, just the ones I've had the misfortune to be associated with. Like you said they all have good and bad.

You enjoy yours, I'll enjoy mine, and try not to let the ratings keep us up at night. :)

Interesting read and makes for some good banter, but I don't put much stock into JD Power ratings...

Bottom line is that the big 3 all make GREAT trucks. I have 2 close friends that work at KY Truck building Super Dutys. I have a lot of exposure to Ford trucks...and well my dad, he's a GM guy, only Chevy trucks for his business. When I took my wife's Volt in for oil change a week ago, I looked at a GMC Duramax that was optioned out, beautiful truck! They're all super nice!

Try one or all and pick the one you want, it's your money and if you take care of it it'll treat you right.

I had to warm up to the looks of the 3rd gen Prius even with the Xsp package. The new one is the ugliest yet. No whiplash but it will break traction from a dead stop and keep up with most other N/A 4cyl cars. Aside from the stigma, it's not bad. But that new one is too fugly.

Don't EVER buy a Jeep, if you're a Consumer Report fanatic, though I've owned them since 1982 and NEVER had the first issue with Wranglers, Jeep Grand Cherokees, Patriot, Compass or the Cherokee ....their mag is a rag..:B (and I've NEVER cared how they rated vehicles anyway..went by my own personal experiences, or those of my family..

I'm glad Jeep has worked for you. My 05 Cherokee had the transmission rebuilt twice in first 15k miles and they still never fixed it right. We opted to trade out of it and went with another brand. For some reason I've always had more issues with Chrysler products than other brands. My Ram 2500 needed the water pump changed twice and they were constantly recalling it over steering issues before I sold it but I'll tell you that I loved that truck.

I've had very little issues with my Ford vehicles. My wife's Explorer only ever needed a blinker bulb and the passenger vanity mirror replaced under warranty. Her Expedition has needed nothing along with my pervious F-150 and now F-250. The Sync sucked in my F-150 but like others have said, I'm not a technology guy so I didn't care since I never used it.

For GM, I've only ever owned one truck which was good except the interior was cheap. No recall issues with it and the powertrain was pretty solid.

As was pointed out their My Sync along with Design problems. All of the manufactures have there problems however when this report is going to hurt the used car values when you go to trade them in. Ford and GM choose to leave their pickups in with there other vehicles. One reason could be they are so good that it will help off set the other vehicles. Ram is it's own separate brand so it will a more accurate rating.

As Dodge guy pointed out, there are NO dealership service departments without waiting lines in the morning! None! We own a 2014 Dart that has be in for a oil pump (low oil pressure) was repaired in one day other than that no other warranty work. Every dodge vehicle we have owned has been great so I'm at a loss to understand why they are rated so low. My 2015 Ram has been in two times for warranty work, left puddle light and the radio recall. Our 2015 300S zero warranty work and according to my Dad rides and drives as good as his 2014 Caddy.
