Have you upgraded your Tom Tom. At least once a year my wife takes ours, connects it to the internet and gets the updated maps and latest new information. We've been doing this for some ... 10 years now. We've never had problems with our Tom Tom. It might takes us to a road that's been flooded (which actually happened), it might takes 50 miles out of our way, which it has, but it always gets us there... more important ... it always gets us back home. I never depend 100% on our Tom Tom though. We ALWAYS carry a Road Atlas with us, and always carry one of those detailed maps with all the country roads for the state of Indiana. Between that and our Iphones with Google Maps, we compare routes and then make the best choice. 95% of the time, Tom Tom is right on target.
