When you switch from Diesel to gas vechicle do you find yourself waiting for the glow plugs/ grid heater to warm up?

After replacing the glow plug relay on my 7.3 I learned that current flows through those contacts until the engine fires. Used to wait, now I give it a few seconds in the morning, and no time at all if it is already warm.
