Those that own a Diesel and a gas vechicle.
When you switch from Diesel to gas vechicle do you find yourself waiting for the glow plugs/ grid heater to warm up?

The only diesel I drive that I wait on is the 91 idi7.3. My dmax, MB sprinter van do not need a lot of warm up. Then spouses mb suv gas, or my 2500 there is no waitng on them either! On colder days, ie below 40F, the MB and GM do get a bit of a wait on the first fire up of the day, but once warmed up, not an issue. Or like the dmax when it has been sitting at the local ski area in winter, and temps are in the teens, I will wait before firing up, or sometimes do a 2nd run of the glow plugs.
